China hails conjugation of EAEU, China-Russia-Mongolia corridor - Xi Jinping

China welcomes the conjugation of the development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the economic corridor linking China, Russia and Mongolia, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday. "We welcome the conjugation of the EAEU development and the economic corridor between China, Russia and Mongolia," he said. He noted that this was "an important step for promoting economic cooperation in the region." We will consider the SCO [Shanghai Cooperation Organization] a number-one platform for the implementation of this cooperation," the Chinese leader added. The Russian and Chinese presidents "also agreed to conjugate the construction of the Silk Road economic belt and the EAEU," Xi Jinping noted. Read more
