Chinese company to execute infrastructure for Eg River Power Plant

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet on Monday permitted the Invest Mongolia Agency to conclude a concession agreement with China Gejuba Group Limited on the preliminary work of infrastructure for Eg River Power Plant. Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat was assigned to manage the agreement conclusion in accordance with the regulations. The Group has been selected from a number of bidders who had proposed to build the infrastructure on their own funding. According to the draft agreement, the construction will complete within 13 months, creating more than 500 jobs. China Gejuba Group Ltd. operates in energy, in roads, bridges and dams building, in infrastructure construction. The company had built and commisioned 146.5-km road in Mongolia. It had also executed over 70 percent of the construction of China’s Three Gorges Dam, the top in the world in terms of its installed capacity.
