CH.SAIKHANBILEG PM MEETS JOE BIDEN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The US Vice president Joe Biden received Thursday the visiting Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg. The dignitaries touched on the ways to expand the business and economic cooperation between the two countries. The PM said the two countries’ relations have been successfully developing in many sector, particularly in defense and politics. He expressed Mongolia’s interest to intensify the cooperation in economy and business. The Premier noted that 250 million USD of trade volume between the USA and Mongolia is a dissatisfying performance, provided the potential of our relations. Mr Biden wished a success to the PM’s visit and promised to study every possibility to intensify business and economic relations of our countries. Mr Saikhanbileg proposed extending cooperation in the level of not only giant corporations but also of small and medium enterprises. Mr Biden expressed an agreement and promised to increase the U.S. investments to Mongolia. He also said he will phone Mongolian PM next week to reflect on the discussed matters and vowed to put all efforts to gain achievement in two countries’ business, investments and economic cooperation. At the meeting present were also Ambassador to the USA B.Altangerel, the Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat and the senior adviser to the PM B.Delgermaa.
