CH.SAIKHANBILEG PM MEETS STANFORD UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the USA with the working visit, the Prime Minister of Mongolia Ch.Saikhanbileg Tuesday arrived in Washington DC. On the first day of the visit, Mr Saikhanbileg received a delegation led by Jeffrey S.Glenn, a professor at the Stanford University. They shared views on developing industries of bio-technology and bio-pharmacy and on conducting related researches. "Mongolia has been considered as having high rate of liver virus," the university professors noted and underlined a possibility of producing drugs against liver viruses in developing countries. Here the parties said it is possible to issue an investment of MNT 20-40 million for establishing in Mongolia a joint factory. The Premier emphasized that Mongolia could be competitive in many spheres, and said Mongolia is ready to study proposals of the university professors.
