Cleric: Sanctions Wall Collapsed With Geneva Talks

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA – Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani said on Friday that the Geneva nuclear talks led to fall of the wall of sanctions, unveiling Zionists’ false claims. “The talks smashed wall of sanctions, unveiling lies of the Zionists,” said Ayatollah Kashani in his second Friday prayers sermon in Tehran University campus. He boasted that Zionists had paid heavy cost to show Iran harmful to security and the nuclear talks disclosed Zionists’ false claims, proving to the world that Iran has never been after producing nuclear arms. He said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has never been after building nuclear arms, moving in line with its legitimate right of enrichment. Fortunately, the nuclear talks, in which the Islamic Republic negotiating team, comprising His Excellency Dr. (Mohammad-Javad) Zarif and his colleagues, had taken part, left two valuable positive results.” He added that the first result was foiling the enemy propaganda and unveiling Zionists’ false claim. “The enemy wanted to show Iran a menace to security but the talks showed that Iran seeks peaceful energy, solely for medical and scientific purposes,” said the Ayatollah, adding, “You Zionists, who spent money and shouting int the world; the world came to understand you are lying.
