Commander: Iran Army Capable Of Confronting Any Threats

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – Army Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said that the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces are fully capable of confronting any kind of threats in the harshest conditions. He made the remarks while addressing a local gathering here on Saturday. He said the army was vigilantly monitoring all threats and was aware of all movements either in the air or on the ground both inside and outside the region. He further pointed to the upcoming nationwide Sacred Defense Week commemoration ceremonies and said the army is going to unveil its defense achievements on the occasion. Voicing readiness of the Iranian army, he reiterated that only those countries that enjoy faithful and patriotic armed forces will be able to win future wars./end
