Commander: Wise IRGC Patrol In PG, Worry For Enemies

Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Prov, April 21, IRNA – Commander in chief of Islamic Republic Guard Corps (IRGC) said here Friday wise and sagacious patrolling of Persian Gulf by IRGC Navy has aggravated the enemies’ worries and humiliation. According to an IRNA Friday report, the Public Relations of IRGC Navy further quotes IRGC Commander in Chief Brigadier General Mohammad-Ali Ja’fari as referring to the late Imam Khomeini’s order for establishment of the IRGC on such a day, during his review of the IRGC Navy District One Headquarters and operational forces in Hormozgan province, adding, “Today, any step taken for increasing the might and further exaltation of the Islamic Republic of Iran is equal to worshipping God wholeheartedly and is a precious act.” He reiterated, “Our prophecy and mission is defending the might of the Islamic system and assisting the religion of God, which is none, but the prophecy of the Infallible Imams (P) in whose way they fought and were martyred.” Brigadier General Sardar Ja’fari referred to the comments of the late Imam Khomeini (P) who had said, “Preserving and safeguarding of the Islamic Republic is a religious must, more important than performing the night prayer”, arguing, “We are passing through one of the most sensitive junctures of the history of the Islamic Revolution and we must while fully comprehending the depth of this prophecy and sacred mission, increase the domain of our efforts, our wisdom, or sagaciousness, and our campaign.” The commander in chief of the IRGC further reiterated, “On that basis, our main concern is meeting the expectations maximally, performing our mission optimally, and maintaining our readiness for confrontation with the enemies constantly.” Elsewhere in his comments, Ja’fari referred to the importance of replacing the headquarters of the IRGC Navy Headquarters and the presence of that force’s operational forces and high brass commanders at the defense forefront of the Islamic Republic by the Persian Gulf, arguing, “Although achieving the top rank in defensive and operational readiness by the IRGC Navy is a praiseworthy point, but more important than that is the maximal performance of the expectations and getting the excellent mark at the altar of Almighty God.” Addressing the IRGC Navy personnel, Ja’fari added, “Your wise and sagacious safeguarding of the Persian Gulf and patrolling this sensitive waterway has aggravated both the worries and the humiliation of the enemies.” Commander in chief of the IRGC reiterated, “Our management model must be the management model of the commanders during the eight years of Sacred Defense (against the Iraqi imposed war), and the priority of our training programs should be training the pious, high incentive, and thoughtful forces, because the achieved victories have been indebted to the endeavors of such forces.” Ja’fari also referred to the hardware facilities and warfare provided for confrontation with the enemies, emphasizing “Yet, what has ensured our victory in confrontation at various fields has been reliance on pious, wise, Mujahid, and selfless forces, who are ready for combat in the way of their ideals to the last drop of their pure bloods.” Brigadier General Ja’fari said elsewhere in his comments, “Paying attention to the factors of deterrence comprise a part of our strategy, while numerous parts of our methods aimed at confrontation and our defense tactics which are a part of our capabilities, must remain concealed till the time of performing our missions and operations.” He added that the type of shape taking and the kind of prophecy and missions of the IRGC are such that it cannot limit itself within certain frameworks and military tactics, similar to the other military forces of the world and suffice to them./end
