Committee on Imam Musa al-Sadr’s fate established

TEHRAN,Nov.5(MNA) -- Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council (NTC) of Libya said that Libyan NTC has established a committee tasked with pursuing the case of al-Sadr, an Iranian-born Shia cleric who vanished without a trace in Libya in 1978. “We will inform the Iranian and Lebanese governments after obtaining the results of the committee’s investigations,” he added. The NTC chairman also expressed satisfaction with his meeting with Salehi and thanked the Islamic republic for its “political and humanitarian aid,” particularly the medical services provided for some Libyan revolutionaries who were wounded during their fight against pro-Gaddafi forces.
