Conferences of City and County Committees of WPK Take Place

Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- Conferences of the city and county committees of the Workers' Party of Korea took place in the run-up to the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). They were attended by delegates elected by the party organizations at all levels including enterprises and cooperative farms belonging to the relevant party committees. The participants of the conferences paid silent tribute to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. The conferences discussed the work done by the city and county party committees. They reviewed the work of the city and county party auditing commissions. The elections of the leadership bodies of the city and county party committees and elections of delegates to the provincial party conferences took place there. Officials and party members of merits were chosen as delegates to the provincial party conferences. -0-
