Congratulatory Letter to Kim Jong Un from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Sunday. The letter said that President Kim Il Sung is an outstanding thinker-theoretician and a great man of action who brightly showed the road ahead of the times and revolution and put the modern history on an orbit of independence with his undying Juche idea. He is also the savior of national resurrection and the father of socialist Korea who defeated the most ferocious two imperialisms in one generation to save the country and the nation and built an invincible power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence, it added. Noting that the President gave birth to Chongryon and leader Kim Jong Il spared no efforts to lead it to become an example of the world's overseas compatriots' movement, the letter said: The patriotic cause of Chongryon came to enter a fresh historic stage and the great leaders' feats and history of benevolent love for it are shining more brilliantly thanks to respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. The letter expressed the resolve to reliably defend and add luster to the idea and leadership exploits performed by the great leaders for the development of Chongryon and the movement of Koreans in Japan and further strengthen Chongryon, which bears a part in accomplishing the cause of Juche, into a dignified overseas citizens' organization of the DPRK throwing in its lot with the homeland.
