Construction of new walls key problem in international relations - Putin

MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. The key problem in international relations is that partners were continuing erecting walls, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday. “NATO’s enlargement to the East and missile defence, isn't this the wall?” Putin said. Commenting on new dividing line, he said, “None has stopped. It is the main problem in international relations.” “Our partners decided they are winners, they are the empire. All others are their vassals and they should be pressed,” Putin said. “This is the problem despite all our attempts and gestures to work without any dividing lines in Europe and in the whole world,” he said. Putin said he is sure Russia’s “tough position” on crises, including on the crisis in Ukraine, should make it clear that “the right way is to stop building walls and create a common security space”.
