Consul General of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg visits Tumen and Kurgan Oblasts of Russia

Moscow, February 27 (AzerTAc). The consul general of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg Sultan Gasymov has visited the Tumen and Kurgan Oblasts of the Russian Federation. During the trip, Gasymov met with the governor of Kurgan Oleg Bogomolov and vice-governor of Tumen Mikhail Sarichev. The sides discussed a range of issues, including expansion of cooperation in the field of economy, science and culture, noting also high level of the Russian-Azerbaijani inter-state relations and positive dynamics of inter-regional cooperation. Gasymov spoke of socio-economic and political situation in Azerbaijan, the accomplishments the country reached last years. Special attention was paid to the necessity of deepening and expansion of humanitarian and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and regions of the Russian Federation.
