Consultations Continue On 7th Day Of Bilateral Meetings In Vienna

Vienna, July 8, IRNA – Consultations to draft a text on a comprehensive agreement in the 6th round of nuclear talks here continues on Tuesday in bilateral meetings between officials from Iran and the Group 5+1. On Tuesday morning, Foreign Minister Deputies Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi meet with EU Foreign Policy Chief Deputies Helga Schmidt and Stephan Clement. Also, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, as heads of negotiating teams, in a separate meeting, will follow consultations on the text of nuclear comprehensive agreement and evaluate acts of deputies and experts in compiling the text. The sixth round of nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1 started on Wednesday July 2, 2014 in Vienna and the two sides had hard, intensive and sensitive negotiations for compiling nuclear comprehensive agreement text here. Spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, Michael Mann described negotiations in the past days useful and constructive and reminded that the two sides will do their utmost to achieve comprehensive agreement until July 20. Zarif, upon his arrival in Vienna on Wednesday, told reporters that if the other side has necessary political intention to access to a nuclear agreement, Iran is fully ready to help achieve the goal./end
