Current Russia-China relations best ever - Kremlin

MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. The Kremlin believes the current Russian-Chinese relations are the best in the history of bilateral relations. "Relations between our two countries can be described as comprehensive partnership and genuine strategic interaction. It would be no exaggeration to say that currently the Russian-Chinese relations are as good as never before," Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Ivanov said after a meeting with head of the General Office of the Communist Party of China Li Zhanshu. Ivanov stressed that the pace of bilateral relations was determined by Presidents of Russia and China Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. According to him, one of the main goals of interaction was preparation for the forthcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War. The Kremlin administration is determined to expand cooperation with their Chinese counterparts. "Contacts have been established between the relevant departments on the personnel policy issues, crackdown on corruption and regulation of social processes," Ivanov said. Read more
