Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives U.S. Secretary of State

Riyadh, February 20, 2020, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received today the United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The U.S. Secretary of State conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings of United States President Donald Trump, while the King sent his greetings to the President. During the meeting, they reviewed distinguished relations between the two countries, overall regional and international events, and the stance of the two countries and efforts being exerted towards them. The audience was attended by Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. On the American side, it was attended by U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia John Abizaid; Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker; Military Advisor Lieutenant General Ricky L.
