Czech FM: JCPOA outcome of a successful diplomacy

Prague, Nov 11, IRNA – Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek said the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as an important international agreement was the outcome of a successful diplomacy. Making the remark in a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif here on Friday, he said the two countries were now able to increase the volume of their cooperation in political, cultural and economic areas so the visit could be high significance for both countries. He said the two nations could also cooperation in the issue of Syrian crisis until its final settlement by fighting the terrorist Daesh group. The Czech foreign minister said that in the post-JCPOA era, the two countries could expand their banking relations. Zaoralek also expressed happiness over the visit of Zarif to his country which is the first one to take place by an Iranian foreign minister in twelve years. Zarif, who is on a tour to three Eastern European countries arrived in Prague, capital of Czech Republic on Thursday evening. Zarif's trip to Prague is the last leg of his visit to three Eastern European countries which had already taken him to Slovakia and Romania. Earlier in the day, he signed a memorandum of understanding after his meeting with his Czech counterpart on consolidating political interaction. 1378/IRNA
