Davutoglu, Ashton Talk About Iran Nuclear Program

Ankara, March 11 , IRNA – Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, in a telephone conversation, talked about negotiation process on Iran nuclear program with Group 5+1. Turkish state TV said that Davutoglu briefed Ashton on his recent meeting with Iran Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Nakhchivan. More details of the conversation have not been released but some Turkish media have said that negotiation between Iran and Group 5+1 will possibly be held in Istanbul in April. Foreign Ministers of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic held their second meeting in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic last week. Salehi, Davutoglu, and Elmar Mammadyarov discussed regional issues and trilateral ties in the meeting./end
