Defence Ministry: Armenia continues to escalate situation at state border

Baku, January 17, AZERTAC The Armenian side has once again carried out a provocation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry said. “In the morning on January 17, the Armenian armed units using rocket flamethrower "Shmel" fired the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Tovuz sector of the state border. Azerbaijani Armed Forces have not suffered any losses. The Ministry of Defence has once again declares that if the Armenian side will continue to carry out such provocations in the future, our retaliatory strike will be more shattering,” the Ministry added.
