Defense Min: Iran Repels Unidentified Aircraft Violating Its Airspace

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA - - Defense Minister, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, said on Friday the Iranian military has repelled an unidentified aircraft violating the country’s airspace. Vahidi said Iranian warplanes fired abruptly and on-timely at an unidentified drone in the airspace over Persian Gulf last week and forced it to escape the scene. Vahidi said Iran is closely studying the accident and investigating and following up the case through the relevant international bodies./end
