Defense Minister meets Turkish Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Defense B.Bat-Erdene held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal on March 31. At the meeting, the Defense Minister exchanged views on further tendency of bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey. The both parties noted that the traditional friendly relations have reached a high level since the bilateral defense ties were established in 1999. Minister of Defense B.Bat-Erdene expressed this gratitude to the Government and the Ministry of National Defense for technological assistance and support for the Armed Force of Mongolia in the scope of the Mongolia-Turkey financial cooperation and emphasized the significance of military equipment assisted by Turkey. "I am confident that bilateral defense ties between the two countries will develop further” he said at the end of the meeting.
