Defense Minister: Quds Liberation Impossible With Compromise With Zionist Regime

Tehran, Aug 15, IRNA – Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that the liberation of Holy Quds and realization of the Palestinian cause is not possible through compromise with the Zionist regime and collaborating with the US. Vahidi said the US rulers and the West not only have no respect for the rights of the oppressed Palestinian nation but use any possible opportunity to suppress the resistance of the anti-Zionism front. He said the unilateral activities of the US and West regarding the terrorists in Syria served the same purpose because they believe that collapse of the Syrian government will annihilate the resistance trend against the Quds usurper regime. The minister stressed that enemies are ignorant of the fact that the anti-Zionism trend takes roots from beliefs of over one billion world Muslims and such efforts would only further motivate the resistance front. Vahidi also believed that defense alliance among Islamic countries is one the ways to defend the Palestinian cause./end
