Defense Ministry: Armenian armed forces fired on civilians in Aghdam

Baku, May 3, AZERTAC “Military units of the armed foces of Armenia have fired on a truck carrying five employees of Aghdam Mechanical Irrigation Department,” press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has told AZERTAC. “The truck was shot down. Fortunately, employees of the departament were not injured, but the car fell into disrepair. The truck is currently being removed from the scene,” the ministry said. Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry described the fact as a purposeful provocation aimed at grossly violating civil rights by Armenia. “The operational situation on the frontline is under the full control of Azerbaijan’s armed forces,” the ministry said.
