Defense Ministry: Azerbaijani armed forces did not conduct any operations on the contact line

Baku, September 1, AZERTAC The Armenian e-media have again disseminated disinformation saying that the armed forces of Azerbaijan committed a diversion on the front line and suffered losses. The statement came from the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. "By the established tradition, the Armenian side conceals from their people the information about fire exchanges between Armenian servicemen due to the lack of discipline in the military units, fearing to say the truth and spreading misinformation in an attempt to calm down the outraged public. We state that the armed forces of Azerbaijan did not conduct any operations on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, did not suffer losses and are fully controlling the operative situation", the statement reads.
