DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND MPRP TO COLLABORATE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Democratic Party (DP) and the People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) have upgraded their cooperation treaty. The document was signed on Saturday by N.Altankhuyag, the Prime Minister and the head of the DP, and by N.Enkhbayar, the chairman of the MPRP. Present at the ceremony were MPs and government members form these parties. "Our parties have been cooperating for two years through the present cabinet for reforms in frames of the goals to improve people’s livelihood, form justice and freedom, accelerate the national development boost the great construction. We have managed to complete some works, now we are upgrading our treaty in order to fortify our achievements in two years to vome,” said N.Altankhuyag. Mr Enkhbayar agreed with the DP chairman and emphasized that the governmental works must go forward, hoping that the signing of the treaty will accelerate great works for the country’s development. “Our Mongolians must not waste time. We must develop and live happily in our motherland and be its lords. This cooperation treaty will help Mongolians fulfill it,” Mr Enkhbayar stressed, adding that the collaboration between the DP and the MPRP will contribute to this. In accordance with the treaty, the two parties will cooperate in fulfilling the responsibilities promised during the 2012 parliamentary election, ensuring the political stability, saving the fundamental interests of the country’s people and protecting their rights and freedom. The parties will collaborate in providing Mongolians with a great opportunity to discover and develop their potential, and in augment jobs. The parties also aim to abolish the bureaucracy and corruption in all levels, to form the social relations based on democracy as well as the independent court and political impact-free legal and monitoring system. By the document, they will cooperate in eliminating a practice when a financial support is taken from businessmen under a name of donation because it keeps a tight existence of the corruption, will create a legal environment for every person to gain benefits from the mining sector’s development by establishing responsible and transparent mining companies. The cooperation document also reflects principles on co-participation in the next parliamentary election, on improving the state actions, on imposing responsibilities, on making new appointments, on implementation of the biggest projects and programmes, on domestic and foreign investments and on management of the state-run mining companies.
