Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament meets Member of Bundestag

Baku, April 30 (AzerTAc). Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Valeh Alasgarov has today met Member of the Bundestag, Vice Chairwoman of the FDP Parliamentary Group Birgit Homburger. Addressing the event, Alasgarov highlighted the development of relations between the Azerbaijani and Germany Parliaments. He also noted that mutual visits, negotiations, deputies’ cooperation in international events played important role in strengthening of the inter-parliamentary relations. Vice-Speaker also provided information about dynamic development of the country, as well as the role of Azerbaijan in European Energy Security and in large scale projects. Birgit Homburger noted that her visit aims to exchange views on development of relations between the two countries and expansion of the inter-parliamentary ties. Member of the Bundestag hailed Azerbaijan`s achievements, role in the energy security. She also noted that Germany was interested in deepening of cooperation in all spheres with Azerbaijan. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli also participated in the meeting.
