Deputy FM in Brussels to attend Iran-EU high level talks

Tehran, Nov 9, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi is in Brussels to attend Iran and European Union (EU) high level talks. Deputy FM in Brussels to attend Iran-EU high level talks The deputy foreign minister departed Tehran for Brussels Tuesday evening to attend the second rounds of Iran-EU high level talks there. Takht-Ravanchi and the EU Deputy Foreign Policy Chief Helga Maria Schmid will head these rounds of talks. The first rounds of high level talks between Iran and EU were held in Tehran six months ago. The two sides are expected to discuss issues of mutual interest including energy, banking, human rights, transportation, education and academic cooperation. Developments in the Middle East including the crisis in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan are among other topics expected to be discussed by Iranian and European officials. 1378/IRNA
