Deputy FM Denounces Terrorist Attack In Beirut

Tehran, Dec 28, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahiyan condemned the Friday morning terrorist attack in Beirut. Talking to IRNA Friday, he said that the enemies of Lebanon are taking aim at all sides. He added that perpetrators of such moves are seeking to create new strife in the country. The Lebanese officials and political factions will certainly foil all the evil attempts through vigilance, he said. Lebanons former finance minister who was also an advisor to the ex-Premier Saad Hariri Mohammad Shatah died in the huge car bomb in Beirut today. Based on the latest statistics, bomb blast left five killed and 70 wounded./end
