Deputy FM Slams Zionist Regime Atrocities

Tehran, March 9, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian here Saturday slammed continuation of the Zionist regimeˈs atrocities in the region including its Friday attack on worshipers at al-Aqsa mosque. The Arab League is expected to help resolve the Arab world’s problems and pay due attention to the Palestinian question as the main issue of the Islamic world, Amir-Abdollahian said. Criticizing the suspension of Syria membership at the Arab League, he called for diplomatic settlement of the Syrian issue. He reiterated that continuation of terrorist actions in Syria would seriously damage regional security, the unfortunate consequences of which would be met by the interfering powers./end
