Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 16, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Jeong Jae Nam conjunction with presenting his credentials.
Ambassador Jeong Jae Nam expressed that he will make efforts in upgrading the Comprehensive Partnership between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, and strengthening friendly relations between the people of the two countries. Besides, he expressed that he will pay attention to facilitating travel of citizens and develop cooperation in the frame of region.
In her part, Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg noted that relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea have been intensifying and expressed gratitude towards the Korean Government for rendering loan worth USD 500 million, which is intended by Mongolian Government to use for air and environmental pollutions abatement projects.
Deputy Minister assured that Mongolia intends to closely cooperate with the Republic of Korea in developing bilateral cooperation from all aspects, especially commerce and economy, increasing the investment of the Republic of Korea, developing Mongolian brands and increasing citizens’ engagement.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister wished the Ambassador success.
