DEPUTY MINISTER WORKS IN VIETNAM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Foreign Deputy Minister D.Gankhuyag paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and member of Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc. At the meeting, D.Gankhuyag expressed a satisfaction with the implementation of agreements reached during a state visit of the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj to Vietnam in 2013 and during the 15th meeting of the Mongolia-Vietnam intergovernmental commission, before noting the participation of Mobngolian business people in ‘Vietnam Expo 2014’ attracts interests of the private sectors of the two countries in cultivating productive cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam noted wider opportunities for implementing joint projects and programs and maintaining closer business connections, and re-affirmed Vietnam will support Mongolia’s application to join APEC once the latter decides to extend its membership.
