Deputy PM meets Foreign delegations

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Deputy PM D.Terbishdagva on April 29 met with Jacques de Watteville, the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Mongolia during the 7th Ministerial conference. D.Terbishdagva noted that the 50 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries is to be marked next year, and thanked the Swiss cooperation agency for implementing many projects in agriculture and mining. The Ambassador said their side supports Mongolia's initiative on fighting a human trafficking and will cooperate in it. The same day, Mr Terbishdagva received Terje Roed-Larsen, the president and CEO of the International Peace Institute /IPI/. After this, D.Terbishdagva ran a meeting with Karel Schwarzenberg, the First Deputy PM and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Mr Terbishdagva said that a cooperation with European Union /EU/, with Czech Republic including, is one most important goals of our foreign policy. He expressed a satisfaction with a development of friendly cooperation in all spheres and with economic ties' restoration, and added that will give a support to manufacturing cost effective good quality products. The Czech FM expressed an interest in cooperating in mining, health and manufacturing and hydrology sectors, and noted that if Mongolia does not protect its water resources, one day a problem with groundwater may appear.
