Deputy Premier meets Ambassador of Kazakhstan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Premier U.Khurelsukh received Wednesday Kalybek Koblandin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr Khurelsukh congratulated him on the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and acknowledged dynamic development of friendly relations between the two countries In turn, Mr Koblandin noted that Astana will host the next meeting of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade, economy, science, technical and cultural cooperation in 2017. “The World Exposition "Expo 2017 will be staged from 9th June till 10th September of 2017 in Astana. The "Expo 2017" will host 112 countries and 18 international organizations. We hope that direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Astana would open by that time”, he underlined. In response, Mr Khurelsukh said that Mongolia will give significance to “Expo 2017” and noted that Mongolia-Kazakhstan relations have to be elevated to a new level. “We have to make greater endeavors to consolidate our brotherhood relationship”, he added.
