DEPUTY PREMIER MEETS CHINESE DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia D.Terbishdagva Wednesday received a delegation led by Mr Sung Yaoming, a deputy director of the Asian Department of China’s Ministry of Commerce and chair of the Chinese side of the Mongolia-China intergovernmental commission. The Deputy PM, also a head of the Mongolian sides of the above commission, thanked Mr Yaoming for contributing to a development of the bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sectors, and expressed a satisfaction with reaching an agreement on establishing a middle-term programme on boosting the commercial and economic collaboration, adding that this document is vital to the economic ties. In response, Mr Yaoming thanked the Deputy Premier for the audience, "prior to the visit of China’s President Xi Jinping to Mongolia", and conveyed to the Deputy PM greetings from Mr Yang Jiechi, a member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. Mr Yaoming also said China wants to have its biggest companies in Mongolia’s mining and infrastructure spheres, to join the largest projects, to participate in Oyu Tolgoi and Tavan tolgoi mines projects. By late 2013, the Mongolia-China trade turnover reached USD 5.96 billion.
