Deputy Premier meets Yang Jiechi

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has been adhering to a policy on keeping the sustainable, good-neighborhood and friendly relations with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) for a long term. The Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Mongolia-China intergovernmental commission Mr D.Terbishdagva said it when meeting with Mr Yang Jiechi, the State Councilor of the PRC, who started Wednesday an official visit here. Mr Terbishdagva said the new State Councilor of China started the very first visit from Mongolia, and it means that the new authorities of China are attaching a great importance to its relations with Mongolia. He hoped this visit greatly contribute to deepening of the bilateral partnership and enriching it with new contents. "Mongolia is a friendly neighbor of China, and the bilateral ties have been intensively developing recent years, therefore our countries have established the strategic partnership relations," Mr Yang said. The Chinese side is ready to cooperate with Mongolia in processing mining products of Mongolia, developing the industry of value-added products, and other fields, he added.
