Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament meets Vice President of All-China Women's Federation

Baku, April 25, AZERTAC Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova has met Vice President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) Zhen Yan. Mrs. Muradova spoke about “friendly” relations between Azerbaijan and China. She noted that about 40 bilateral documents signed between the two countries. Muradova said economic relations between the Azerbaijan and China were expanding. Touching upon inter-parliamentary relations, the Deputy Speaker hailed the “fruitful” cooperation of the friendship groups in legislative bodies. Muradova provided an insight into cause and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Zhen Yan, in turn, highlighted strengthening relations between the two countries. She said China supports “Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the international documents.”
