Diplomat: Iran Received No New Proposals

Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA – An Iranian diplomat close to 5+1-Iran talks in Almaty said the Islamic Republic of Iran has received no proposals from the sextet during the current negotiations. In fact Tehran received response to its proposals put forward during Moscow talks, he added. Asked about news by the western sources saying that the Iranian delegation has received a new proposal, the diplomat said the 5+1 has in fact re-written Baghdad proposals in a way that it could be interpreted as a response to the proposal presented in Moscow. He stressed that what was offered to the Iranian delegation on Tuesday in Almaty, Kazakhstan, was just a response not a new proposal. The diplomat added that the response of the 5+1 has yet to be considered to check to what extent it could be accepted./end
