Diplomatic relations established with Eritrea

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has established the diplomatic relations with Eritrea. The joint statement on the diplomatic relations establishment was signed on June 24 in the UN Headquarters in New York by O.Och, the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the UN; and his counterpart of Eritrea Araya Desta. Then it was registered in the UN, and the countries asked the UN Secretary-General for introducing it to the UN members. After the signing ceremony, the countries agreed to adhere to the Charter of the UN, the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and other international principles and laws under mutual willingness to develop the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation.
