Djibouti envoy: Iran, a mighty Islamic country

Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA – Ambassador of Djibouti to Riyadh Ziauddin Saeed Bamakhrameh who represents his country in the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) underway in Tehran said Monday that Iran is a mighty country in the region and the Muslim world. Speaking to IRNA, Bamakhrameh expressed hope that the Tehran Conference would yield good results for Islamic nations. Referring to Quranic verses calling for unity among Muslims, he urged all Muslims across the globe to refrain from sectarian conflicts. ICIM experts meeting kicked off here on Monday morning. The two-day meeting seeks to help consolidate unity and present a proper image of Islam and Muslim states. The ministerial session will be held on December 3-4 following the experts meeting.
