Dmitry Peskov: Meeting between Russian and Azerbaijani presidents was positive

Moscow, June 14, AZERTAC Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has hailed a meeting between the Russian and Azerbaijani leaders in Baku as positive. “The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev was positive, with the two discussing the whole of the bilateral relations and international affairs,” Peskov said in a statement. “President Putin completed his visit with very good impressions,” he added. Mr Putin arrived in Baku on Friday to attend the opening ceremony of the European Games. In Baku, he also met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
