DOLOON BUUDAL TO BECOME URBAN COMPLEX

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Mr. E.Bat-Uul has reflected in his action plan for 2013 -2016 a relocating of the complex of the UB administration office to new sub-centers. Accordingly, a creation of such eight sub-centers has been reflected in the general plan on Ulaanbaatar development until 2020. Two of them--the Bayankhoshuu and the Selbe--will be re-planned and developed at the Asian Developmemt bank's money and support. A related memorandum of cooperation has been inked by the city Governor's Office and the ADB April 11. Then, Mr Bat-Uul and the team leader, ADB PPTA for MFF on Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program, Bharat Dahiya met with residents of Bayankhoshuu ger district and Selbe sub-center, or 16 khoroo of Sukhbaatar district, 14th khoroo and 18th khoroos of Chingeltei dicstrict on April 11 in frames of project on developing ger districts areas and supporting an investment. As calculated, on 156 hectares in Doloon buudal will be established a sub-center to serve 220 thousand people, it will be two times larger than Darkhan city. The ADB will issue UDS 500 million for it. The project team developed a 10-year plan that will be run in three main phases to develop Bayankhoshuu and Selbe.
