DP faction appreciates initiative of organizing oath-taking ceremony

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ After having two-week break, the faction of the Democratic Party (DP) at parliament met Monday and backed a draft law on holding the oath-taking ceremony of the re-elected President Ts.Elbegdorj in front of the public. The date of the ceremony has been assigned on July 10. “We have considered that the new President who was elected by people must take his oath in front of the public. As the election finished, now the President should work hard to improve well-being of people as well as parliament,” said D.Erdenebat, head of the DP faction. Apart of the matter, the faction meeting decided to discuss a draft new wording of the oil law at the spring session. In addition, the DP members agreed to set up a sub-committee at parliament on the transit transportation. As the faction decided, a package law on land, bills on election, on mineral fund, on legal status of cities and villages will be discussed at the spring session.
