DPRK not to agree to negotiations on its nuclear weapons as their subject

PYONGYANG, October 11. /TASS/. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will never agree to the talks presupposing that Pyongyang should give up its nuclear weapons, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho said in a conversation with the TASS delegation in Pyongyang. "In particular, our principled position is that we will never agree to any negotiations, at which our nuclear weapons will become the subject of talks," he said. "As we have stated on numerous occasions, the USA should abandon its hostile policy and give up a nuclear threat against the DPRK with all their sources and roots," the foreign minister said when asked under which conditions he considered it possible to start a dialogue between the DPRK and United States. The TASS delegation headed by TASS Director General Sergei Mikhaylov is on a visit to the DPRK on the invitation of the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). Read more
