DPRK's December Holidays Celebrated in Different Countries

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- Celebration meetings took place in Germany, Serbia, Poland, Mexico and Angola between December 20 and 27 last year to mark the 25th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the 5th anniversary of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un's assumption of the KPA supreme commandership. Speakers including the chairman of the Communist Party of Germany said that Kim Jong Il developed the KPA into an ever-victorious army and invincible revolutionary ranks with his distinguished Songun revolutionary leadership, adding that under his guidance the KPA could reliably defend the socialist gains from every obstruction of the enemies. They also stressed that the KPA, with Kim Jong Un as its supreme commander, could always glorify the tradition of invincibility and the DPRK is a beacon of hope for the world progressives. The honorary chairperson of the Tradition Association of the Polish People's Army and the chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism praised the exploits Kim Jong Il performed in firmly defending the sovereignty and the dignity of the country by pursuing the Songun politics. They noted that Kim Jong Un has carried forward the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il to bolster up the self-defensive nuclear deterrent of the country in every way and led the army and people of the DPRK to work fresh miracles and innovation in building a socialist power. -0-
