Dushanbe, Moscow prepare 15 documents for signing - Tajik ministry

DUSHANBE, April 15. /TASS/. As many as 15 documents have been agreed and prepared for signing at the Seventh Russian-Tajik Regional Cooperation Conference scheduled to take place in Moscow on April 16-17 during Tajikistan’ President Emomali Rahmon’s visit to Russia, a source in Tajikistan’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade told TASS on Monday. "As many as 15 documents have been agreed. A working group continues consultations in Moscow. Chances are that the number of documents will grow," the source said. He added that the documents that would be signed at the Moscow event were aimed at boosting economic, agricultural, migration and youth policy cooperation, as well as regional ties. According to the Tajik Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, participants in the Conference will discuss agricultural, logistics and industrial cooperation, as well as ways to develop mechanisms to enhance investment, trade, educational and cultural ties. A Russia-Tajik youth forum dubbed "Common Way to the Future" will take place during the Conference. A plenary session involving the two countries’ economic development ministers will be the highlight of the event. The previous Russian-Tajik Regional Cooperation Conference was held in Tajikistan’s capital of Dushanbe in May 2018. Read more
