Dy FM Answers MPs Questions On Rohani-Obama Telephone Conversation

Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for consular, parliamentary and expatriates affairs Hassan Ghashghavi said on Sunday that the recent telephone contact between President Hassan Rohani and US President Barak Obama had been made with authorization. Answering to the questions posed by the members of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, he said As far as I know President Rohani would under no circumstances have made the telephone conversation without authorization. He also referred to the dialogue exchanged between Iran’s foreign minister and his American counterpart on the sidelines of Iran-G5+1 foreign ministers meeting and said the Iranian delegation fully observed Iran’s foreign policy as well as the red lines of the Islamic Revolution.
