Egyptians Decision For Their Future, Respectful: FM

Tehran, July 13, IRNA – Iran's FM Ali Akbar Salehi said Saturday that all nations respect the decision the Egyptian nation has made for the future of their country. Salehi made the remarks in a telephone conversation with deputy Egyptian interim president for international affairs Mohamed ElBaradei. Salehi stressed that the fate of Egypt should be shaped only by the Egyptian nation. The conversation took place after Salehi returned home from Turkey where he reviewed the latest developments in Egypt with senior Turkish officials. Salehi then called on all political and elite groups to help fulfill the objectives of the Egyptian nation based on unity. ElBaradei, too, described Iran as an important country calling for the highest level of cooperation with Tehran. He also called for continuation of talks between the two on major regional issues./end
