Ehud Barak elected member of Nizami Ganjavi International Center

Baku, April 21 (AzerTAc). Israeli military and political figure Ehud Barak has been elected a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. Ehud Barak is an Israeli politician who served as Prime Minister from 1999 to 2001. He was leader of the Labour Party until January 2011. He previously held the posts of Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister in Binyamin Netanyahu's second government from 2009 to 2013. Ehud Barak will attend the second Global Shared Societies Forum to be held in Baku from April 27-30. He also will take part in the 1st General Assembly of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. In 2005, Ehud Barak was voted the 61st-greatest Israeli of all time, in a poll by the Israeli news website Ynet to determine whom the general public considered the 200 Greatest Israelis.
