Entire Political, Legal Means Against Zionist Township Construction

Cairo, Feb 7, IRNA – IRI president stressed here Wednesday need for resorting to entire political and legal means aimed at blocking path of destroying and seizing of Palestinian properties and construction and expansion of Zionist townships. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who was speaking Wednesday evening at a special session of the OIC Summit Meeting on Palestine, in an address considered Palestine, occupation, and Zionist township construction in occupied lands ˈa historical and ages old issueˈ arguing, ˈEver since the first days of occupation of Palestine, destroying the living habitat, residential districts, and cities, and construction of new cites and townships aimed at changing the population texture and destroying the social and economic atmosphere of the Palestinians has been going on and on.ˈ According to the dispatched IRNA reporter to the OIC Summit Meeting, President Ahmadinejad further reiterated, ˈThe objective of the occupiers in conducting such moves is fixing and stabilizing the effect of occupation of occupation thru expansion of the new residential and non-residential textures. He added, ˈThey did so, so that no sign of the blessed Palestinian nationˈs history, culture and traditions would remain and the Palestinians would be doubly deprived so that they would be pushed to margins, or outside Palestine.ˈ Ahmadinejad said, ˈThe Zionists with their moves are also after wiping off the legal signs of their presence at the occupied lands, so that the Palestinians would totally and for good lose hope for returning to their occupied motherlands and their social organization would be collapsed.ˈ The president reiterated, ˈThe Zionists on pretext of expanding the culture of residing in townships in addition to destroying the old and traditional textures, the gardens and farms, the historical monuments , mosques and churches, which were all demolished, having no reservation in massacring and wounding, or imprisoning the real owners of these regions.ˈ Ahmadinejad said, ˈAmong the other important reasons for never ending construction of the townships is its effect as a factor for imposing pressure against the Palestinian government and representatives, or taking advantage of it in political and diplomatic talks as a club.ˈ The president said, ˈUnfortunately the US administration and the rest of the supporters of the Zionists, too, take advantage of this political means and it seems as if the Zionist regime would never abandon this weapon and effective means of materializing its objectives, and always after short pauses and new beginning of the townships we have been witnesses to blackmailing at diplomatic scenes.ˈ Ahmadinejad said that the efforts made for halting the construction of townships are praiseworthy and such efforts must be further intensified, emphasizing, ˈSupporting the rights to any possible extent is praiseworthy.ˈ The president posed a question about the political strategy aimed at halting the occupation and township construction, reiterating, ˈThe Zionist regime is established based on oppression, aggression, and usurping and has been merely commissioned to oppress, and occupy. He added, ˈIn the course of the 65 years since the establishment of that regime it has imposed war against the people of Palestine and the regional countries and basically, the expressing of existence of the Zionist regime has always been accompanied with war and bloodshed and hearing the name of Israel is today synonymous with war, death and bloodshed.ˈ Ahmadinejad reiterated, ˈCan a regime that is by nature warmonger and usurper and supported by the most oppressor world powers, be expected to respect the human rights and the commitments of the civilized people in the world?ˈ He said that the recent establishing the independent Palestinian government at the United Nations was a great victory, congratulating it to the entire freedom seeking nations. Elsewhere in his address Ahmadinejad said that in order to materialize the entire rights of the Palestinian nation a number of steps parallel to each other must be taken, adding, ˈThe first step is the need for legal pursuing at the international societies for stabilizing the existence of the Palestinian government and materializing the full rights of that government, as well as liberation of the entire occupied lands.ˈ The president added, ˈIncreasing the resistance power of the people against the totalitarian and expansionist nature of the Zionists would guarantee the fixation and materializing of the Palestinian nationˈs rights, and therefore, while emphasizing the need for demanding full liberation of the Palestinian lands, the moves made by the dear youth in setting up the tents of resistance and expansion of popular resistance moves must be supported, because resistance is the secret of victory and success of the Palestinian ideals.ˈ President Ahmadinejad reiterated, ˈFurthermore, unity and harmony among the Palestinian groups, reaching agreement over a joint roadmap for full liberation of the entire occupied lands and establishment of the Palestinian government is a dire necessity that must be urgently be pursued and supported by everyone.ˈ The president said that unity and harmony are the other important factors for materializing the rights of the Palestinian nation, reiterating, ˈEveryone must harmoniously support unity of Palestine and the materializing of the rights of the Palestinian nation. He further noted, ˈWe must all harmoniously support the unity of Palestine and the rights of the people of this land and by grace of Almighty Allah and relying on the resistance of the Palestinian people, today the Zionist regime is weaker than ever before, and God willing, very soon we would see a day when the occupiers must get back to their own homes and return Palestine to the Palestinians.ˈ Ahmadinejad reiterated, ˈIt seems as if the US administration and the old allies of the Zionist regime, too, have well realized that the costs of maintaining this regime are increasing with the passage of each new day and that Israel can no longer perform its mission of aggression and occupation.ˈ He said, ˈThe have realized that their support for the status quo of the Zionist regime has led to losing their own credit among the world nations and that they must definitely review the type of their relations with that regime and the type of its mission, and I hope this understanding and comprehension would as soon as possible be operational zed.ˈ/end
