Envoy: Enemies Dissatisfied With Expansion In Iran-Turkey Ties

Ankara, Nov 14, IRNA – Iran Ambassador to Turkey Bahman Hossein-pour, in a meeting with new deputy leader of the Turkey ruling party of Justice and Development Numan Kurtulmus, said enemies are dissatisfied with expansion of ties between the two countries. In the meeting, which took place at central building of the party on Tuesday, Hossein-pour expressed hope that with the presence of Kurtulmus in his new post, economic ties between the two countries can developed more than ever. Referring to the positive and sustainable trend of ties between the two countries, the ambassador stressed that with the efforts made in recent years, relations have expanded and deepened in all levels. He expressed hope that the new party deputy leader can pay a visit to Iran soon so that he can get acquainted with Iran's economic capacities. Kurtulmus, for his part, said that Iranian and Turkish people are Islamic world important powers and their cooperation can be beneficial for both countries and the region. He added that the whole world is now facing an economic crisis and the crisis will test civilization and the region should have a plan to deal with the current crisis./end
