Erdogan and Ban discuss Syria and Cyprus

UNITED NATIONS (AA) - March 26, 2012 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon discussed Syria and Cyprus issues during their meeting on Monday. UN spokesperson's office stated, "the Secretary-General met with Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey, on the margins of the Seoul Nuclear Security Summit today." "They discussed the latest developments regarding Syria and Cyprus," said the office. Erdogan was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Deputy Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar, Undersecretary of Turkish Intelligence Organization (MIT) Hakan Fidan and Turkish Ambassador in Seoul Mustafa Naci Saribas during his talks in South Korea.
